Round tour: from Lenggries via Sachsenkam to monastery Reutberg and back

At first you ride from the train station Lenggries to the city hall and the road „Geiersteinstraße“ that leads you to the swimming pool Isarwelle. There you turn to „Goethestraße“ and downhill to „Leitenweg“. Turn right and follow the road with the name „Ried“ till you come to a footbridge.

You cross the steam Tratenbach and ride on the forest road to Unterluß and Steinbach. Once you reached the steam Steinbach you ride on the right side (upstream) approx. 2 kilometres, cross the bridge and ride 1 kilometre more on this road. This time it goes slightly uphill. After that you turn left to the paved road and ride in the direction of Untermberg and Gaißach. Reached at the restaurant „Gasthof Mühle“ you follow the signs to Tegernsee. Here, the bike path leads through a bog landscape. Named „Gaißacher Filzen“. After this section of the tour you come to a little forest, where you turn left to Greiling.

In Greiling you hold on the right side toward Sachsenkam/Reichersbeuern. After the host „Neuwirt“ you turn left to the train station. Behind the railroad crossing you ride on the forest road, still following the signs leading toward Sachsenkam. Now you have to cross an underpass and after that you are in Sachsenkam. Once you reached Sachsenkam you just have to follow the sign to „Kloster Reutberg“ and you will come to the monastery. Here you can enjoy the break and the nice day in the beer garden. After the break you have to drive approx. 2 kilometres to the lake Kirchsee. From here it goes back via the pond „Kogler Weiher“, Kirchbichl and Ellbach to Bad Tölz. Via the Nockhergasse you come to the center. Make a second break and visit the historical old town of Bad Tölz. After that you come down to the bridge over the Isar and ride back to Lenggries on the Isarpath. From Bad Tölz you also have the possibility to come to Lenggries by train.
