Mountain bike loop tour: from Lenggries via Hirschbachtal – Aueralm – Mariestein and back to Lenggries

First of all you ride from the center of Lenggries to the castle Hohenburg, through the vally Hirschbachtal to the Hirschbachsattel (1200 meter). There you have the possibility for a short break at the cabin Lenggrieser Hütte (round about four kilometers). From the Hirschbachsattel you turn left uphill through the forest (ther`s a short part you have to push your bike). From now on it goes via the raised bog on a good forest road to the huts Neuhüttenalmen and the Aueralm. There you get something to eat and drink (closed on Mondays). After a break you follow the road down to Bad Wiessee roand about 100 meters before you turn left (Zeiselbach). Follow the forest road to Mariestein, than follow the signs to Reichersbeuern and Gaißach. From Gaißach you ride via Mühl and Steinbach back to Lenggries.
