The tour starts at the train station in Lenggries. From here you walk on the western high-altitude trail to Seiboldshöfe. The high-altitude trail sometimes runs downhill and sometimes slightly uphill. At the Seiboldhöfe, the trail continues along a forest road toward Längental. You walk on the forest road till you reach a turn-off. Ther you follow the signs with the number 468. This forest road brings you over the forder Leiterberg and the trail „Jägersteig“ to the vally Längental. When the trail ends you turn left and come to the hut hintere Längentalalm. In summer months you get ther a delicious snak like bread, cheese and homemade cakes. Now the tour goes downhill to Kirchsteinhütte. Ther you have once more the possibility for a short break. This cabin is also open in winter months. After the Kirchsteinhütte the trail continues on the forest road. If you are at the bridge over the steam Arzbach you follow the Längentalroad until you come to a smal church close to the road. Here you cross the road and walkt to the river Isar. You come back to the start of the tour on the Isarpath.
