From the summit oft he Ochsenkamp you have a good view to lake Tegernsee.
The tour starts at the carpark behind the castle Hohenburg. From here the forest road leads you to the Hirschbachvally. You follow the slightly uphill forest road and the signs to Hirschbachsattel. After walking two hours you reach the end of the vally and turn right to a trail that leads you to the so called „Kampen“. The trail winds its way up through steep terrain covered with mountain pines to the summit of the Ochsenkamp. From here you have a fantastic view to the lake Tegernsee.
Descend: Now you have the possibility to take the same way down or hike on to the other summits of the Kampen and the mountian Seekar. In clear words it means you hike on to Auer- and Spitzkampen, then follow up to the summit Seekar and reach the hut Lenggrieser Hütte. To come down from the Lenggrieser Hütte you take the path „Sulzersteig“ and you will reach the under sektion of the Hirschbachvally. From here you walk the last few meters on the same forest road like you began your tour.
