Mountain bike tour Lenggries – Gaißach to Schwaigeralm (not in operation)

To begin with, drive from Lenggries northwards towards Steinbach. Follow the signs to Untermberg and Gaißach, driving upstream along the Steinbach. On the road from Untermberg to Mühl, turn right towards the district of 'Lehen'. From there, you will ride to an area known as the 'Gaißacher Filzen'. At the end of the paved road, follow the well-maintained forest trail on the right that goes slightly uphill. Initially, the forest road passes through meadows, and then it leads you through a forest. Once you reach the top, the trail will lead you straight out of the forest and to the Schwaigeralm. Here, you can enjoy the view, take a break, or continue on to the Rechelkopf. To reach this summit, you have to hike for around 30 minutes. To return to Lenggries, take the same route as before.
