Parkingplace at the vally station of the mountain railway "Brauneck Bergbahn"
From the mountain station, the trail climbs briefly to the Brauneck summit cross, offering an uniquely fascinating view of the Karwendel’s high Alpine range and, to the north, a beautiful vista of the Isar Valley all the way to Bad Tölz—and, in good weather, as far as Munich and the lake Starnbergersee. From here, the trail heads west past the paragliding and hang gliding launch site, then along a path below the Schrödelstein and across increasingly open alpine meadows to the Panoramaweg.
Return via the Panoramaweg. Other wise you can continue on to the "Großer Höhenweg" or the "Almrundwanderweg".
