Hikes for families

The Brauneck cable car makes it easy for young mountain enthusiasts to reach the summit. Floating up in the gondola and then hiking from hut to hut at the top is no problem even for our youngest mountain fans.

The path from the mountain station to the Tölzer Hütte is suitable for strollers. Look forward to serviced huts and alpine pastures where your children can discover exciting play opportunities in nature and enjoy a hearty snack to recharge their energy

Our classic for families.

Hiking time (one way): roundabout 60 minutes

from the center

The longer option is a circular tour over the Keilkopf.

In the summer months our guided latern hike every Tuesday takes place

Reiseralm

Another classic for families, featuring a red deer enclosure.

Walking time: approx. 45 minutes from the Brauneck cable car parking lot.

Elevation gain: approx. 200 meters

Can also be done as a circular route.

In winter, we offer a guided lantern hike to the Reiseralm every Wednesday evening.

Children's hiking pass

Our children's hiking pass is very popular with families.

It guides you through Lenggries and the surrounding area, introducing you to many new and exciting places. When you reach your destination, simply ask the hut host for a stamp in your hiking pass or enter the corresponding secret code in the designated field.

After reaching 2 destinations, you will receive the bronze hiking crystal; after 4 destinations, the silver hiking crystal; and after 5 destinations, you can even earn the gold hiking crystal – the highest award – at the Tourist Information Center*.
