Hohenburg route

The walk starts at the carpark “Karwendelparkplatz”. From here, keep to the right and follow the street “Großherzogin-Maria-Anna-Weg”. This street leads you past the calvary hill to an intersection. At the intersection you take the left paved road and you come directly to the castle Hohenburg. Behind the castle the hiking trail leads you to the pond of Hohenburg. You go around the pond and see a path that goes down through a forest. You follow this path and reach the Oberreiterweg. This street brings you to the elementary and middle school. Here you walk down the Geiersteinstraße to the Tourist Information, turn left to Herwarthstraße and come back to the start of the tour.
