Northern high-altitude trail

After the bridge below the Isar you go straight ahead through the roundabout (road „Brauneckstraße“), following the signs to“Luitpolderhöfe“. You walk up a litte hill and turn right into the north. Then you pass the former barracks site, the neighborhood Kranzer and Rieschenhöfe. The high-altitude trail sometimes runs downhill and sometimes slightly uphill to the Bairahöfe, Ertlhöfe, Seiboldhöfe to the last stop „Schweizerwirt“. Here you can turn to the east and you come to the „Isarweg“. This path leads you back to Lenggries.
