Combined PKW - bike tour: Hinterriss – Eng/großer Ahornboden (perfect with electric bike)

For biker without electric motor, first of all it goes with the car form Lenggries via Fall and Vorderriss to Hinterriss. At the entrance to the village ther`s a car park called „Wanderparkplatz Hinterriss“. From there you start your biketour. Of course you can also ride the complete tour started in Lenggries with your bike, if you have an electric one. From Hinterriss you follow the paved toll road through the Rissbach valley. The road goes slightly uphill all the way. You pass the hut Gaberl-Alm and ride on to Haglhütten and the small and tall marpled „Ahornboden“ – Eng. Here you have the opportunity to take a snack in a restaurant or buy one of the regional products you can get at the alpine village. The area „Eng“ is located at 1,205 meters and is surrounded by the spectacular Karwendel mountains. From here you can start very nice hiking tours for example to the Falkenhütte, the Lamsenjochhütte or the Binsalm. The views there are even more impressive. The way back is the same.
