Bycicle tour with places to stay

The bycicle tour starts at the bridge over the Isar in Lenggries. First of all the tour leads you to the high altitude trail past old farmhouses. If you turn around, you have a very nice view to Brauneck and Lenggries. At the end of the high altitude trail you ride downhill to Arzbach (ther you have to drive some meters on the main street). On the way from Arzbach to Wackersberg you can do a short side trip to Beindlhof and eat a so called „Beindlhofeis“ (handmade ice from the farm). After that your next stop is located in Wackersberg. It`s the capel „Pestkapelle“. Take a look inside the chapel and learn about the history of the chapel which was built because of the disease plague. The way goes on toward Bad Tölz. Have a break at one of the restaurants or buy a snak to enjoy it at the next stop. The rout goes on via the Girlitzer pond in Gaißach to the plague cross, where you can enjoy your snak on a bench.

From there you ride on a forest road and you come to the St. Michael's church in Gaißach. Now you follow the cycle path to Gaißach and Steinbach, where you have to cross the road. From no on you follow the rout to the next stop at the holy Leonhard in Steinbach (accros from the Moralthof). Last but not least you ride to the spa garden Lenggries. That`s the last station of the tour. Look back on your tour and think about all the wonderful moments you experienced today.
